Sonita’s Squat Appears limitless

Recently crowned the 2024 European Open Classic Champion. At the 2024 Sheffield Championships, 84+kg Sonita Muluh of Belgium shocked the world by squatting an unimaginable world record squat of 300.5kg/662.49lbs. As a result, she broke her prior world record squat of 285.5kg/629.42lbs, by a margin of 15kg/33.07lbs (+5.25%). She thereby broke both the tested and untested raw world records and also became the first woman in the sport's history to break the 300kg/661.39lbs barrier as an unequipped (or raw) athlete.
