Jade, who typically competes as a 56kg (123.46lbs)/57kg (125.66lbs) athlete, set a new junior world record total of 512kg (1128.77lbs), shattering the previous record by 1.29% (or 6.5kg/14.33lbs). Jacob dominated the competition, finishing with a devastating average lead of 125.57kg (276.83lbs) over the other twenty-four athletes. Her average lead was 40.78kg/89.90lbs (or 48.10%) higher than the five-year (2018-2023) average of 84.79kg (186.93lbs) at the FFForce Championnats de France Jeunes de Force Athlétique, and 1.99kg (4.39lbs) higher than the average lead between 2022-2023. To illustrate her dominance even further, her winning margin of 54.5kg (120.15lbs) over Anne Laure Thomassin, who finished the meet at second place with a PR total of 457.5kg/1008.61lbs (+5.17%), stands as both the highest recorded margin within the last five seasons (2018 - 2023) within the meet’s history, including being 22kg (48.50lbs) above the average leading margin of 32.5kg (71.65lbs) between first and second standing athletes at the FFForce Championnats de France Jeunes de Force Athlétique, between 2018 - 2023.

Jade Jacob’s new junior world record total of 512.5kg (1129.87lbs) is indeed a remarkable achievement. However, when compared to her best competition and world record total of 519.5kg (1145.30lbs) as a 56kg (123.46lbs)/57kg (125.66lbs) athlete, her new record shows a regression of -1.44%. This impressive feat was achieved at the second staging of the Sheffield Championships in February, where she competed against twelve other IPF world classic champions and medalists. Her junior world record total of 512.5kg (1129.87lbs) places her at seventh place on the overall all time 60kg (132.28lbs)/63kg (138.89lbs) list of athletes.
